As I'm 'resting' at the moment, I'll pass on the spitfire...I think it's fantastic that such an old design is still popular. Another cherished memory concerning the Spitfire was a bike ride out to Fairford on the eve of the international air tattoo a few years ago. We witnessed a mock dogfight over the airfield between a BBMF spitfire and hurricane. It was wonderful to watch and to listen to.
