Subject: [Leica] M9 - not much more expensive than M8?

Now Doug, the smaller sensor is not too relevant for you.... Long lenses
like smaller sensors...and to get the same AOV, you would need a longer
lens, which is heavier, requires higher shutter speeds, and may not be as a
fast.... ( you could srop a larger sensor shot to only contain the essence
of the cropped sensor, but then, why would you buy a larger sensor in the
first place if you were always going to crop?)

I don't agree with Mark's reasons that you need a FF sensor.....for all
jobs/trips/travel/happy snaps....

But, If you shoot WA lenses, the bigger the sensor the better.....and that
is the camp I am in....

The M9 may be expensive, and indeed may be out of my league, price wise, but
my heart is absolutely pounding.....

I want!

Lacking the full frame also doesn't seem to be a big problem with the DMR as
well. Sure I'd rather use more of the 280's image circle,
