Nathan - This set of photos illustrates exactly what I was talking  
about in my "Looser Framing" post.  Virtually all of these shots have  
central elements that could be punched up by cropping, but at a real  
loss.  As they are, they not only carry that powerful element but also  
evoke an emphatic sense of place.

Really nice.
