I had to evaluate the close-up DOF, as you will see in another post, in order to understand how to use the lens. Used within its limitations, it is fine. Misused, I get a lot of less-than-sharp images because, even at f/22, my subject matter exceeded the narrow DOF. I was not really happy with this image.
