There are Leica O's available for under $1K.

I'm very tempted. 

Anyone still shooting one? 

Rest assured, this is a novelty impulse urge only.  I mean, how "okay 
for routine shooting" can "capping the lens before advancing the film", 
"set the shutter before tensioning the shutter", and "the shutter is set 
via slit width, not time speed" be?

But, I hear that the lens is stellar.

And it is cute.

And the stock markets are up, so I feel I can "afford it".
