The contrast on the Elmar-M has a signature all of its own. From wide
open to topped down, it was made to shoot wide open.
I have an image going up in a mural, from a neg shot with the Elmar-M
I sold to the good Rev. It's 8" high by 3.7" wide, inside the mural.
At the time, I preferred it over the 'Lux I had.
It's contrast would be compatible with all your current newer lenses.
For me, that's always a criteria, having the tonality between lenses
match.
