I bought the LX3 after reading your comments on LUG - also the
Lensmate hood - it's a great little camera 

Can you share your experience on how to convert RAW to JPEG without using
the bundled software

I love my LX-3 version - got the aftermarket lens hood and cap.  I now  
only have it as my digital camera and it's a blast.
