Adam,

Yes, we stayed at the Silver Maple Inn on my last trip to Lake Tahoe.  
Great!  And that "Breakfast Place"
was probably the Hayes Street Cafe  (only open for breakfast and 
lunch).  Best omelet that I ever had!
