Subject: [Leica] If You Were Buying an M8 Today...

1) I would buy an M8 (which what I actually did in December)
2) Getting the best price from a reputable dealer
3) You can do your own exchange conversion, but given that I paid  
around 2500 Euros (2140 Pounds) for a new one in the UK in December,  
and prices have certainly not gone up since then, I would expect a  
used one to cost no more than 1800 Euro. At least this is the kind of  
saving I would be looking for, given the inherent uncertainty of  
buying used, the Passport warranty you get when buying new etc.
