This is the second camera body, or may be even third, or fourth.

Kind of like four third.

It's also the camera you will have in your purse, or pants pocket.

If you have baggy pants.

Point is, you will carry this camera.

Whereas your D3X stays in the SUV.

The body + 17mm lens is lighter than the Noctilux, even the Cosina one.

And you dial the ISO to 6400. Just like M8 with ISO800 and Noctilux at F1.

And you save $9195.

That is, if you pay $5995 for the M8 already.
