Subject: [Leica] OT: D3x vs. 'Blad CFV 16MP full sized samples

I've wondered about this myself, to the point I shot the same image
with the same lens on my F2, D200 ( adjusting the tripod position to
match angle of view) and D3. The F2 was loaded with provia 100F and
scanned with a Nikon coolscan. You know what? The D3 was the sharpest
of the lot, followed by the D200, with the F2 last. I doubt it was
technique or focus because I was shooting outdoors at f8 on a tripod.

But I'm equally curious as you, so I'm going to repeat this test soon
with velvia in my M6TTL and the 50 nokton, and the 35 cron asph on the
M8. I'll post the results here.
