I don't know if you complained and ebay pulled the auction, or whether it simply ended. In any event, if it ever happened to me, I would send ebay a very lawyerly-sounding e-mail about intellectual property rights etc. If that did not work, I would spoil the auction by bidding some outrageous amount, say, ?10000, and then refusing to pay, making sure that I let both the seller and ebay know the reason.
