[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Instead of a huge Yuban coffee can monster Nikon Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto AF-S Zoom Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED AutoFocus Lens which weights 2 pounds and has a 77 mm filter size and is 5.2" long in front of your farily modest sized D700 body dwarfing it try putting a 28mm 2.8 on it (21 x 1.33 = 27.93 ) which takes a 52mm filter size and weights 0.43 lb and sticks out and inch and a half and see how much that intimidates people. Anybody can turn their DSLR into a monster. I find a normal lens on a normal camera you get normal intimidation. A monster lens in front of a normal camera you get monster intimidation. There are no lenes one fifth the size of a 24-70mm which you can fit on a Leica M so blame the nikon camera body for the monster lens you go out and buy.
