To start with a reminder; this is not me :

As a matter of fact I sometimes use a ladder, not always though ;-)

Other times I may use tricks: this one for instance,

monopods/tripods can be helpful sometimes even if this one shot  is not 
so convincing in terms of colour, or sharpness.

All this to say that I had told Philip I had used a ladder for the 
cherry-tree, off-list, which sparked some jeers or disbeliefs.
Mea Culpa, I should have stated it on this trusted list.

I'm afraid that in photography, there's not always one truth only.
Maybe this is what makes it so fascinating.
