Hi Alan,

thanks for a swift answer

The lens I had in mind was the one with the slit on the left hand side - 
do you know when they stopped this, and used a ring and blades?
Just to give an opproximate date of birth to my lens.
I've been thinking of screwing it on the bellows and stick the L1 to it, 
out of curiousity.
