Hi Frank,
Life is short and mean - go for it!
But you need to factor in the cost of coding the 21 Asph and 28 Cron  
(if they're not already) and the purchase of IR cut filters for the  
lenses.
But the M8 is a very satisfying picture maker and you will enjoy it  
very much.
Life even if short, should be enjoyed. Go for it.
