Subject: [Leica] 180/f2.8 & Infinity focus

Hi Folks,

I've been trying out my father-in-law's 180/f2.8 (serial number dates
it to about 1969, converted to 3-cam by Kindermann in Toronto) with a
R-8 I bought off Ted. I finally had a chance to take it out into the
countryside today and noticed that when I try to focus at infinity,
the focusing screen is still slightly blurry. I tried the same R-8
body with a 90/f2.8 and infinity focus seems to be fine. So this would
seem to suggest that the lens has some problem.

Before I send the lens to Kindermann, are there any known problems
with infinity focus with this lens?

Regards,
Spencer
