Last weekend I visited a nearby wildlife area where the Wild Turkey toms
were doing their best to impress the hens:

while the hens were doing their best to ignore the toms:

Later in the day I found a Common Loon that has been wintering in the area.
I'm still waiting for the loon to change into summer plumage:

Technical stuff:

(all photos) R8/DMR
(tom turkey) 560mm f/6.8 Telyt
(hen turkey) 280mm f/4 APO-Telyt + extender
(loon) 560mm f/6.8 Telyt + kayak, between rain squalls

All comments welcome.
