I know my post-war 4/90 is >labeled as a Leitz lens. Inquiring minds would like to know. I have corresponded with Bill about this off-List. He is absolutely correct and I was wrong. The final four-element f/4 Elmars were marked as 90mm as were, I believe, all of the three-element lenses. But MOST of the f/4 Elmar line were 9cm. The changeover was not made at one rigid point, but occurred between roughly 1961 and 1967. Marc msmall at aya.yale.edu Cha robh b?s fir gun ghr?s fir!
