The COMPLETE serial number is generally a 
necessity.  Those "XXX" thingies are symbols of 
paranoia, I fear, and the full number is often 
required to research the provenance of a 
lens.  But it is not in your case.  You own a 
4/9cm four-element Elmar, dating from 1950 and the lens head is removable.

You can connect this to a Visoflex II/IIa/III in 
two ways (well, there are OTHER ways, as well, 
but these are the two principal methods):

Camera + Visolflex + OUAGO/16467 focusing adapter + 4/9cm lenshead
Camera + Visoflex + Bellows II + 16558 adapter plate + 4/9cm lenshead

Again, I've only done a quick run through my own 
stuff and there are other combinations which will 
all you to use the lenshead on a Viso II and to preserve infinity focus.
