I think that lens was also produced by Kiron. That's the one with the 
optical unit in the extension tube, isn't it? Like many earlier 
designs by Kiron, it's only failing is a propensity to flare.

My favourite current macro lens in the 100mm range is the 105/2.8 
Kiron which goes to 1:1. A truly excellent lens. I got it after the 
Nikon 105/2.8 came out and it turned out to be less than stellar, and 
certainly less than the 105/4.
