Turns out that when plugged into the old charger, the Ipod states something like..... Wrong charger, go buy the right one..... If the manufacturer wants to sell a OEM charger only, it can find ways....... I understand the S2 will only charge from the charger made in North West Solms. The models made in South West Solms are reserved for the R10, and the M9 charger comes only from Wetzlar, under a special arrangement...... If you try to use the wrong charger, the camera refuses to stay in focus and states on the back panel..... We need the Bucks. Go spend more money...... A charger is a charger, with some proprietary tricks up its sleeve in certain cases. The rest is marketing.
