Panoscan compares their current camera to that of competitors' from a 
number of years ago. Not very believable, especially when 
competitors' cameras in some cases significantly exceed Panoscan's 
specs.

A large part of their PR seems to hinge on denigrating competitors, 
which can at best only work if you have a truly superior product.
