Having owned a male samoyed from puppy to end of life
I would suggest that he will not be "taken down a peg or two?"
Both Veruschk (my Samoyed)
and
Frost (my Great Pyrenees)
were INDEPENDENT thinkers
with absolutely no interest
in considering stepping "down"
from what they instinctively needed to do
in any given situation

have to earn their respect
by respecting their instincts
and
exercise exercise exercise
and more exercise

the "eyes" have it
thanks for sharing

Fond regards,
George
