I shot this in Patterson New Jersey.

It's a cream 1985 300D Mercedes diesel, (this fella has three)
Goes for many thousands of miles. Many decades.

Paterson home of the Colt company who made the Colt Paterson 45
And Alan Ginsberg who didn't pack one,
But packed a Leica M6.
And wrote the pivotal Beat Poem "Paterson".

The first planned industrialized city. Because of the Waterfall;
Right in the center of town. Like Rochester NJ; only closer.
Mr. Paterson signed the Declaration of Independence.
Paterson is where "On the Road" starts out at.
"On the Driveway" .

It's a pretty gritty town.
I got some grit.
But its got nice areas too.
Was hard to pull over because of the snow drifts.

I sure love the snow!
