Many decades. Paterson home of the Colt company who made the Colt Paterson 45 And Alan Ginsberg who didn't pack one, But packed a Leica M6. And wrote the pivotal Beat Poem "Paterson". The first planned industrialized city. Because of the Waterfall; Right in the center of town. Like Rochester NJ; only closer. Mr. Paterson signed the Declaration of Independence. Paterson is where "On the Road" starts out at. "On the Driveway" . It's a pretty gritty town. I got some grit. But its got nice areas too. Was hard to pull over because of the snow drifts.
