Sonny - Do you not have collard greens and black-eyed peas on New Years' Day? I thought that was a tradition throughout the south. Various beliefs go along with it, but the most common around here is that in the coming year you will receive a dollar for each collard green that you eat and a coin for each black-eyed pea. If that's true, we'll all be millionaires this next year!! I have tons of collard greens and black-eyed peas. Y'all come. I've got enough for everybody. Cornbread and tea, too.
