I'm not sure that Lewis Kemper is the best choice to showcase this lens. 
Looking at his website https://www.lewiskemper.com/ it doesn't look like
wildlife is a specialty of his, and that many of his animal photos were
made at a game farm where captive animals pose for a fee.  He a local guy
so maybe I should just go introduce myself ;-)

Field of view on the 50D crop camera like a 1280mm on a 35mm film camera. 
Using the 560 & 1.4x APO on the DMR gives a field of view like a 1074.08mm
lens on a 35mm film camera:
