It might be helpful to compare the S2 macro lens MTF graphs with the MTF 
graphs of the 100 APO, 180 APO Elmarit, and 280 f/4 APO R lenses.  These MTF 
graphs are all on Leica's website.  Knowing first-hand how these three R 
lenses perform, the MTF graphs of the S macro lens ought to put a VERY BIG 
smile on the face of a prospective user.
