Philip, Caring for children medically anytime is a tough calling. But those that do the caring with children and cancer or similar conditions I can never understand how these dedicated and compassionate medical folks do it day after day, year after year. Doctor's like our own Dr. Steve Barbour along with others of his calling I've met through his acquaintance are amazing human beings to say the least. Your photo series is heart felt and obviously illustrates the caring folks who look after these children. As a layman with a fair amount of time shooting in medical situations, here in North America and in the old USSR, I offer my most humble but sincere thank you to your mother for the strength and fortitude in coping with her nurse calling and these children. A fine set of documentary photos. B&W makes them all the more powerful! ted
