The film is very grainy and you're only shooting a half frame.  I'd also 
check the lens to see if there is any fogging in it as these old Pen-F 
lenses are subject to internal fogging as are some of the old Leica 
lenses. Shine a laser pointer through it that should show any fogging.  
I have two Olympus Pen-F lenses that are fogged, a 20mm and a 100-200mm 
zoom.
