I can't remember the last time I changed the batteries in it. For a while I thought the ultimate digital camera would be a T2 with an APS or bigger chip. Lately methinks I'd be just as well of to keep using my T2. I like to carry the Contax T-2 in my sport coat inside pocket. Yes, I can do without the high ISO if the lens is fast and sharp and distortion free. I love my T-2 and now use it mostly with TX or HP5 and sometimes Delta 3200. My C-41 processor, in my lab, is slowly being phased out due to not enough film to keep it running properly. Conventional process of B&W is not a problem, and I have over 50 years of practice. I have tried to carry various Leicas in jacket pockets and the best I have found was a 1934 Leica Standard with 50 Elmar. A digital Contax T-2 or T-3 would be ideal. Pocketability is over-rated, IMO. I seem to get by nicely with the M8 in most circumstances. The fast lenses make up for the pretty much real limits of 640 ISO. The higher two ISO's can be used, but you need a good bit of light or they'll go noisy.
