It's that Leica "special" thing.

Back in the "good old days", any special unit would be worth more than 
the "standard production" units.  eg. military units, factory units, 
prototypes, etc.

These days, well, who knows.   Collectors are thinning out.  New 
collectors aren't coming on board.  So, a "school unit" might not be any 
more desirable than standard production.
