we carry them
always at the ready
in my case
mostly on left shoulder

so much a part of me
it's almost forgotten
and often carrying
many other things

on occasion
at the ready
means swinging
just a tad

in my case
a gentle tap
to the glass
by an automobile
door latch
to remind me
"just a thing
to make pictures"
did the trick

no worry - works just as fine

i certainly don't
abuse my gear
as many on this list
can attest when
they've purchased

nor, do i
carry it around in ways
which would prevent
a photo being made
rather instantly

careful during use
proper cleaning after use
proper storage when not in use

above all
ready to use
without fear

Fond regards,
George
