Subject: [Leica] IMG: Egyptian artifacts

Both images were taken with the Noctilux and M8 at f1.0. The M8
rangefinder was adjusted to compensate for the Noctilux back focus.
The Noctilux has since been adjusted and the M8 rangefinder adjusted
back to Leica specs.

Both of these pieces are part of the Egyptian collection assembled
by Raymond Pitcairn in the 1920's and 1930's before Egypt
prohibited the export of these artifacts. The Pitcairn home is now
the Glencairn Museum in Bryn Athyn, Pa.
