Never give up!
This sort of photographic exercise
provides enormous amounts of learning potential;
specifically regarding how light and surface intersect;
and how light renders complex forms.

It's also an opportunity for
exploring how the technical
and aesthetic can
work together.

Finding the essence within this object
became an adventure in photography
aesthetics and history.

I can honestly say
I did not fully appreciate
the beauty of
this unique object
until I figured out
how to light it.

This reminded me that
the same is true of all subjects.
All becomes beautiful
in the right light.

Fond regards,
George
