The "67mm" encourages me to frame tightly. Actually I am using it most for half length to head and shoulders stuff on people. It needs the focus magnifier for best focus accuracy (wide open or nearly so). My 28, I'm not using enough now. Maybe I need to adjust my thinking there. But I seldom used a 35 before so maybe that says something. The 'crop factor' does mean that the vignette effect of the Summicron asph disappears. 21 a lot for general scenics (where I used a 28 for film) A new 18, I like a lot more than I did the 21 on film. Less apparent distortion too. I have my 90 and 135 for sale and got the 75 for a short tele. The framing is much less convenient, but the results are yummy. Very accurate focusing with that one too (long throw, but the floating element thingie is great for quality and I see no focus shift either). Would you like an uncropped file or two to look at from any of these? That's not what I'm looking for here. Now the question for M8 users. Did your favorite or standard or most often used lens change from classic M to M8? If you used to like 50s , have you switched to 35s? If you old favorite was 35s, are you using the 28 mostly now? Did 50 lovers stay with 50? Are you less likely to use 90 or 135? Are you more likely to use ultra-wides? Thanks. Ric Carter http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/ricc/ _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
