[Leica] OT Firewire 800 daisy chain speed question

Steve,

When mixing firewire 800 and 400 devices the speed of the 800 device  
will be slowed to 400.

BTW even though Firewire 400 and 800 are Apple devices you can  
purchase Firewire cards for Windows PC machines.
