I have owned a Goldumund turntable, Koetsu MC cartridge and others, Mark Levinson amps, Audio Research preamps and amps, MIT speaker cables and many I have mercifully forgotten. Then the hobby was hi-fi. Now the hobby is music. I am happy as a little clam with my kitchen hi-fi, or when I go wild, my AR turntable with Linn arm and cartridge. Kind of like photography - the image is the thing, the gear is just a tool.
