A fascinating group.  I don't mean to imply photos should look like 
paintings to
be valued, but this reminds me of Van Eyck and other Flemish triptychs of 
the Northern
Renaissance, especially since the edges of the windows mimic the frames in 
those works.
(I was an Art History major   ;~)
