Subject: [Leica] IMG: Cypress Swamp In Summer

Cypress Swamp in Summer. This time of year the Battle Creek Cypress  
Swamp is Dry. It's only full of water in the cold weather. The things  
which look like small stumps with round tops are called knees. They  
are part of the root system of the Cypress trees. No one is sure  
exactly what function they serve. Their height shows the average  
height of the water in the swamp.
