Best, Jim Shulman Bryn Mawr, PA -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+jshul=comcast.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+jshul=comcast.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Tina Manley Sent: Sunday, July 06, 2008 2:15 AM To: digitalusersgroup@yahoogroups.com; lug@leica-users.org; paw@micapeak.com; seephoto@micapeak.com Subject: [Leica] IMG: M8 Mishap PESO: I'm in California hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains and have not had e-mail for over a week. We've had a wonderful trip and I've taken many photos with my two M8's but on Tuesday, we were hiking near Southfork Lake in the John Muir Wilderness when I stumbled over a rock and fell face first onto my M8. I broke my nose but the M8 is fine, as far as I can tell and I've continued to take photos with it in spite of two very black eyes. Can you see the imprint of the M8 on my face? http://www.pbase.com/image/99734652 I look even worse today as all of the colors are more vivid and spreading over most of my face. We'll be back home on Wednesday with a week to recuperate before I head off for Honduras. I'm still having nightmares about falling on my M8 though!!! More photos later.
