So I got some Lightspheres, a battery pack and gave it my best...never thought about holding the flash off camera with one hand. Too late for these gals (big gathering of Benedictine nuns, and a Blurb book promised) but maybe next time. In a brighter place, I hope. Ken BTW: Blurb has published the icc profile for its printers, for soft proofing, which should help. > -----Original Message----- > From: lug-bounces+kcarney1=cox.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug- > bounces+kcarney1=cox.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Sonny Carter > Sent: Tuesday, July 01, 2008 7:04 PM > To: Leica Users Group > Subject: Re: [Leica] first try at flash > > also, the sf24d Leica flash can be used off camera with a Nikon sc-28 > cable. > > > > > > On Tue, Jul 1, 2008 at 6:40 PM, Lottermoser George <imagist3@mac.com> > wrote: > > > You'll be amazed at the difference when you get the flash at arms length > > and to one side. > > All of a sudden the human head has "shape" again. ;~) > > > > Fond regards, > > George > > george@imagist.com > > www.imagist.com > > http://www.imagist.com/blog > > Picture A Week - www.imagist.com/paw_07 > > > > > > > > On Jul 1, 2008, at 6:36 PM, Ken Carney wrote: > > > > I'll be darned - amazing how much more there is to learn.
