I've won a minty and superb Summicron Rigid for 420 Euros + Buyers Premium = 504, and I think was a good deal. I was at 65,500 until the last second..... :-) Truth is, no, we were all out on a hot humid Ottawa day. I didn't even realize that there was an olive IIIg on the block. The Westlicht auction is a bit too rich for me. But recently, I have CLA'ed a mint IIIg, and after two days of discussion with DAG, have found that this is a very tricky camera to get all working. And I was working with my KE-7A, replacing the focus tab on the lens, and discussing with DAG why Leica changed this tab to plastic. ....Vick >From: H&ECummer <cummer@netvigator.com> >Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> >To: lug@leica-users.org >Subject: [Leica] Westlicht auction results >Date: Sun, 08 Jun 2008 10:54:32 +0800 > >The M3 prototype sold for 54,600 Euros and the M8 prototype sold for >24,000 Euros.
