Still when I have a good image experience I want to share. As you all know I have gone down the path of the p/s digicams trying to get something that will perform in such a way as to make me happy. I was going thru some old shots the other day and found one (which I posted eons ago) and was actually taken the very first day I used my very first digital- a Digilux 1. I remember that this was a digicam with zero shutter lag- but unfortunately too much noise above 200 ISO. However, that particular shot of 2 children- made me feel a seamless switch from film to digital. When I started buying Canons later I for the first time learned about lag time. In any event- I went to the closet- dusted off the digilux- charged it up and went shooting. Spring in Central Park, New York- gave me this image. The original before cropping was 31X23 inches in size. After cropping 23X23. Now mind you this is with 4 megapixels- I keep asking myself. Why did I leave the Digilux 1?
