"However! Being informed about the Honorary Doctor of Laws degree was
something that never ever entered my mind anytime during my life."

I remember this sentence I've learned on the LUG, I think was Steve Barbour
who has posted it:

"LIFE IS WHAT HAPPENS WHILE YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING ELSE"

And simply you deserve it...

Best!

Hi Crew,

First may I offer the biggest "THANK YOU POSSIBLE!" for all your kind
comments and congratulations.

WOW!! WHAT A FAMILY! Everyone should be so lucky in real life or on the
magical screen.

As you know this past year or so has had its up's and downs. First off was
the BRAVO TV film in production, then on the screens, big and small with the
attendant public appearances. I thought that was intimidating. Certainly the
paparazzi was quite a surprise in Ottawa during the public screening there.
Dang photographers! :-)

However! Being informed about the Honorary Doctor of Laws degree was
something that never ever entered my mind anytime during my life.

Now that's intimidating and overwhelming all rolled into one! :-)

At first I truly thought a mistake had been made. Surely this is for a
person of higher learning, not I?

Because in real life I'm not a university learned person. I'm just a boy who
dropped out of high school to follow a dream of being a photographer.

My good fortune all these years is being in the right place at the right
time and great people to work with. Basically simple things that happened.

I realize folks on the list know what Honorary degrees are and why people
receive them. My good fortune now is, friends explained what they are and
why people receive them. It's still intimidating. WHY?

Well I'm still the boy who dropped out of high school to follow a dream with
great passion and good luck!

Hey, it isn't funny for a guy like me, because underneath all the skin and
experience I'm a shy puppy! True.

Once again, the best thing is, having folks like all of you to share this
wonderful moment with.

Thank you one and all,

ted
