Barring hitting the Power Ball Lottery..... a nice mundane M6 ( or whatever) is the next BEST backup. If your M8 goes south, go out and buy film for the M6. The M6 is small, it uses the same lenses, and it is probably more bullet proof than any other camera you could bring. And you probably already own one.........Peace in the Family!
