I know, Nikon Capture now NX processes NEF files the best but I can't wait 2
days for 1000 images to run through :) Lightroom does
this within 2 hrs or less.

So far my D3 impressions are this is the best digital SLR Nikon has ever put
out. I've owned the D1h,D1x,D100,D200,D2h,D2x.

I walked around with just a 50mm today. It's almost like shooting a wide
angle lens, full frame takes some time to get used to
again.
