Hello Chris,

I have a lot of extreme wide-angles: 15, 19 and 21mm for Leica R, so can
make
some comparison:

The Elmarit 19mm (#11225) is very good lens, excellent contrast, sharp and
hardly
no dark corners.
Better than the SuperAngulon R 4/21mm (fair/good contrast)
But for me the best is the (Zeiss) Elmar-R 1;3.5/15mm. Extreme sharp!

Which version of the 19mm did you try: the most recent or on of the older
types?

Kind regards

Fred Hess
