Kaufmann as much as said the R10 would have autofocus.

Also, he said that there would be '24 new lenses announced within the 
next year'. This was Nov of last year, so presumably it would include 
the Summarits and of course various R lenses in autofocus mount, as 
well as some shorter R lenses reformulated for the larger sensor. 
Plus at least a couple of top end M lenses (presumably the f/0.9 
Nocti-ASPH and one or two fast prim wides).
