[Leica] How long has the M8 been out? Beyond warranty period?

Vick,

The demo M8's from dealers and the used like new cameras from  
Popflash come with a 1 year warranty. I think $4299 is a good price  
for a mint M8 with 1 year warranty. I might consider buying another  
one myself. Mine is black but I'm sure my chrome rigid Summicron  
would look beautiful on a chrome M8.
